Mortimer Livingston Kavana

At two o’clock this afternoon, the remains of Mortimer K. Kavana were removed from the residence of his parents, No. 477 Hudson avenue, to Greenwood for interment. The body was identified on Friday. The deceased who was just turned nineteen, was a youth of peculiarly attractive appearance, pleasant in his speech, good natured and affectionate.

For some time he had been working for his father in New York, and was singularly beloved by all his friends. His physique was splendid and promised a long and vigorous life. The Rev. Mr. Gilder, of the York street M.E. Church, performed the funeral services, and a large concourse attended and accompanied the remains of Greenwood. He was an only son.
